LINGAYEN, PANGASINAN—Provincial government workers are set to renew their rivalry for this year’s “DONONG” Employees’ Competency Tournament to be held on September 13 at Provincial Training and Development Center (PTDC) II, here.
The competency tournament which is the highlight of the celebration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary is a friendly-competition among employees of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan that showcases their competencies and skills aligned with their functions.
Said tournament will feature five skills competitions such as digital logo making, quiz bee, video making, photography and public speaking.
Based on the general mechanics prepared by the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) led by Ms. Janette Asis, the competition shall be opened to employees of the provincial government regardless of employment status.
The HRMDO announced that the different offices will be grouped into seven with their compositions as follows:
Governance Group- Provincial Governor’s Office, Provincial Archives and Records Center, Management Information Services Office, Pangasinan Provincial Jail, HRMDO, Provincial Information Office, Provincial Legal Office, Pangasinan Provincial Library, Provincial Planning and Development Office
Legislative Group- Office of the Vice Governor, Office of the Provincial Board Secretary, Office of the Provincial Board Members
Finance Group- Provincial Accounting Office, Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Treasury Office, General Services Office, Provincial Assessment Office, Internal Audit Services, Bids and Awards Committee
Social Services Group- Provincial Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Office, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Public Employment Services Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Provincial Population Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office, Provincial Health Office, Provincial Community Development and Training Office
Economic Group- Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office, Capitol Resort Hotel, Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, Provincial Agriculture Office, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, Provincial Veterinary Office
Infrastructure Group- Provincial Engineering Office
Hospital Management Group- Provincial Hospital Management Systems Office, Pangasinan Provincial Hospital, Western Pangasinan District Hospital, Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital, Urdaneta District Hospital, Bayambang District Hospital, Mangatarem District Hospital, Lingayen District Hospital, Asingan Community Hospital, Bolinao Community Hospital, Dasol Community Hospital, Manaoag Community Hospital, Mapandan Community Hospital, Pozorrubio Community Hospital, Umingan Community Hospital
Each group shall submit hard copy of the final list of participants per competition at the Center for Excellence in Employee and Organization Development on or before September 11, 2023.
Corresponding cash prizes await the winners.
