Dhobie P. De Guzman is the Provincial Information Officer of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan.
He is a well-known journalist and media executive in the Philippines. He started his media career as a reporter for various newspapers and radio stations. He later worked as a news anchor for ABS-CBN Baguio from 2004 to 2008 and became the Head of the North Luzon Cluster (Baguio, Dagupan, Laoag, Isabela, and Pampanga) from 2008 to 2020.
Dhobie de Guzman established and managed Regional News Group Luzon Inc., a popular digital news and media website. Through this platform, he continues to provide insightful news and content to the public.
His passion for snooping out the truth made him the voice of the people. His tenacious pursuit of interesting stories made a big transformation in regional newscasting. He was able to put his team into the public eye when they won three national prestigious awards in the field of broadcast journalism.
De Guzman completed his undergraduate studies in AB Mass Communication at the University of Cordilleras in 1998.
Dhobie de Guzman was born on January 17, 1977, in Laoac, Pangasinan. He is married to Charmaine Joy de Guzman and is blessed with two children. With over two decades of experience in the media industry, Dhobie has established himself as a well-respected and influential journalist in the Philippines.
