An umbrella program implemented with the Department of Health in collaboration with the Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF) which aims to empower health leaders to become Universal Health Care Champions for Universal Health Care acceleration.

The Province ofPangasinan is enrolled in the program (Module 1and 2) and team includes personnel from the Provincial Government Office, Sangguniag Panlalawigan, Provincial Health Office, Association of Municipal/City Health Officers -Pangasinan Chapter, Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Accountant.

Bayang Malusog-PLDP Module I was held last October 2022 and aimed to develop/enhance the provincial health teams’ bridging leadership competencies which enabled them to take advantage of UHC implementation to realize their vision and address the health challenges in the province. Governor Ramon V. Guico III showed his commitment through signing of the Action plan: Generating Quick Wins made by the provincial health team which will serve as a road-map in Universal Health Care in the province.

On-going training for Bayang Malusog Provincial Leadership Development Program to Accelerate Universal Health Care Module 2 (July 3-7, 2023) is being held in La Union. This program module aims to strengthen collaboration for Universal Health Care.
