Engr. Amadeo Batrina Veras, is an accomplished engineering professional with 36 years of experience and expertise in the field of infrastructure development and project management. As the Provincial Engineer of Pangasinan, he plays a crucial role in leading and directing the operations of the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) to ensure the successful planning and implementation of engineering projects in the province.

Born and raised in the town of San Fabian, Pangasinan, Engr. Amadeo B. Veras earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pangasinan in the year 1984 and passed the May 1985 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination (CELE).

After garnering his professional license, Engr. Veras began his professional career as a civil engineer, in the Kuwait National Petroleum Company from year 1986-1987 as a Surveyor in charge of laying above and underground pipelines. He then moved back to the country and started working at Provincial Engineering Office of Pangasinan in 1987. His exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with diverse teams soon make him rose from the rank and became the Department head of the Office.

In 2022, Engr. Amadeo was appointed as the Provincial Engineer of Pangasinan, a position he embraced with enthusiasm and determination. Since assuming the role, he has been instrumental in planning, designing, and overseeing crucial projects that have improved the lives of countless Pangasinenses.
