The Provincial Government of Pangasinan, through the generous support of Governor Ramon “Mon-Mon” V. Guico III and with the assistance of the National Archives of the Philippines, Commission on Audit (COA) and the Provincial Archives and Records Center (PARC), has successfully conducted the synchronized disposal of valueless records for the fourteen (14) offices and twelve (12) hospitals of the province last May 30, 2023, at the Capitol Beachfront, Capitol Compound, Lingayen, Pangasinan.

A total of 18,743 kilograms of valueless records were disposed through sale. Proceeds from the disposal were properly turned over to the Provincial Treasury Office.

Ms. Christin E. Licopit, Senior Records Management Analyst of NAP, Mr. Aurelio Angelo T, Langit, State Auditor III of COA, Ms. Cheryll A. Escaño, OIC-Provincial Archives and Records Center, and records officers/custodians of the concerned offices and hospitals were present to witness the said activity.

Records officers of various offices and hospitals are very grateful for the planned records disposal because their respective working areas have been relieved and can be placed again with new and active records.

The synchronized disposal of valueless records is held annually in the province.
