LINGAYEN, PANGASINAN – The provincial government anew held the monthly health and wellness check-up for Capitol employees which forms part of the provincial administration’s employee development thrust.

Spearheaded by the Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO), in collaboration with the Provincial Health Office, the said program was held at the Provincial Training and Development Center on May 16 which gathered almost 300 Capitol employees.

Roman L. Vila Jr., program focal person from PHRMDO, said that the vital signs, blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol level of each employee were checked during the activity. Vila explained that employees who experience health problems generally deal with high blood pressure.

To help decrease the blood sugar level of Capitol employees with health conditions, the provincial government provides free-of-charge maintenance medicine every month.

Dental check-up was also offered.

Participating companies were: Siapno Tada Optical, JM International, Noble Life, Mary Kay Skin Care and Cosmetics, Aldrtz Pau Liniment, Tina Reyes Spa and Nestle.
