53rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup Champion

 

 

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Pangasinan provincial board led by Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr. commended Krizziah Lyn B. Tabora, a Pangasinense, for winning the 53rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup Championship 2017 held in Hermosillo, Mexico last November 11, 2017

QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup, formerly known as the International Masters and AMF Bowling World Cup, is an annual Ten-pin bowling championship sponsored by QubicaAMF Worldwide and the largest bowling event worldwide.

Authored by Sangguniang Panlalawigan member Rosary Gracia P. Perez-Tababa,  approved Provincial Resolution No. 1218-2018 entitled “Congratulating Krizziah Lyn B. Tabora for Winning the 53rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup Championship 2017 held in Hermosillo, Mexico last November 11, 2017,” states that “the award-winning performance of Tabora deserves felicitations of the Pangasinan community in the limelight of sports arena specially the youth, her kabaleyans and fellow bowlers.”

As such, the provincial board extolled the ‘hardwork and tremendous efforts’ of Tabora to outshine her foreign opponents and bring home the victory.

Tabora, a 26-year-old native of Alcala, Pangasinan has successfully represented the Philippines in the Bowling World Cup.

Ending the 14-year drought in Philippine bowling, Tabora became the 5th Filipino to win a Bowling World Cup title following the footsteps of Christian Suarez in 2003, Lita dela Rosa in 1978, Olivia “Bong Coo” Garcia in 1979, and Philippine Legend Paeng Nepomuceno in 1976, 1992 and 1996.
