LINGAYEN, Pangasinan –Officers and members of the Kapisanan ng mgaBroadcater ng Pilipinas (KBP) Pangasinan Chapter took a break from work to enjoy the Broadcaster’s Night held at the Sison Auditorium on December 21.

Governor Amado I. Espino, III, in his message, lauded the superiority of broadcasting and fairness in information dissemination of the media personalities in the province of Pangasinan.

Kayo po ang nagiging medium kung paanonakakarating ang mgabalitasamgakabahayan at kami po ay humahanga at nagpapasalamatsainyo,” Gov. Espino added as he lauded the Pangasinan KBP which was just adjudged the best KBP chapter in the country.

Furthemore, Gov. Espino commended media personalities’ commitment to public service and commitment to community development as he vowed to backstop every advocacy for the future of Pangasinan media entities.

“Magkakasamapotayongtatahakin ang landas, naminsanay hindipogan’onkasiguradoperosaatingpagsasasamana para salahat ng stakeholder ngPangasinan ay mararatingnatin ang dapat para saatingpamilya at para saprobinsya ng Pangasinan, “Gov. Espino further noted.

As the inducting officer, Gov. Espino led the oath-taking ceremonies of the re-elected KBP Pangasinan Chapter officers: Mark Gemson Espinosa – chairman; Noel Sibayan – vice chairman; Jay Mendoza – secretary; Gina Almazan – treasurer; Josie Ulanday – auditor; and Bernie Errasquin – standards performance officer.

In response, chairman Espinosa encouraged every media practitioner to recite the credo of their reaffirmation of ‘fairness and responsible delivery of news and entertainment in Pangasinan.

Espinosa, in his chairman’s report, proudly shared the major accomplishments of the association, especially, for having been chosen as the ‘best KBP chapter in the Philippines’.

“We have massive and God-centered projects, katuwang ang government and non-government organizations,” Espinosa said as he expressed his appreciation to the provincial government for its invaluable support in their projects and aimsfor community development.

“Tulad ng Pangasinannalaging number 1 dahilnakatanggappo ng Seal of Good Local Governence (SGLG) Award, number 1 din po ang KBP Pangasinan chapter natinagguriannamang ‘Best KBP Chapter in the Philippines’, Espinosa further stated.

The Broadcaster’s Night is anchored on the theme: “Promoting Unity through Fairness, Responsible and Excellent Service for Every Filipino.”
