LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Gov. Amado I. Espino, III led the ceremonial turn-over of learning modules for Kindergarten, Grades I, and II pupils of the province of Pangasinan by donating a total of 300 books to Department of Education Pangasinan 1 (DepEd Pang-1), and DepEd Pang-2 on September 4 at the Capitol Plaza.

Vice Gov. Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim Jr. assisted Gov. Espino in the ceremonial turn-over of “Ready Get Set Go Series” learning modules along with the Sangguniang Panlalawigan members, namely: BM Angel M. Baniqued Jr., BM Jeremy Agerico B. Rosario, BM Chinky Perez-Tababa, BM Noel C. Bince and BM Raul P. Sison.

According to Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Marilu N. Cardenas,   the allotment of learning modules is for senior high school students. “We look for other enrichment materials for the children to supplement our existing instructional materials,” Cardenas said. Likewise, she urged the teachers to do more research where they can draw and develop more materials as teaching resources including real life situations, and the media.

DepEd Pang-1 was represented by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Teodora V. Nabor, along with Education Program Supervisor Dr. Dulce D. Tolosa, and Chief of School Governance and Operations Division Dr. Angeline S. Casipit, who received the 150 books for Kindergarten, Grades 1, and 2 pupils of Pangasinan I.

Likewise, DepEd Pang-2 Schools Division Superintendent  Atty. Donato Balderas, together with Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ely Ubaldo graced the ceremony and accepted the 150 books for Pangasinan 2 Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2 pupils.

The “Ready Get Set Go Series” is inclusive of English I Like 12 Volume e-book with Talking Bee, 40 volumes of Ready Get Set Go Series, Handwriting Kinder, Everything for Early Learning, and Webster’s Comprehensive Dictionary.
