PMA exam

 

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) announces the conduct of the PMA entrance examination on August 20.

 

PMA exam in Pangasinan will be held at the University of Pangasinan – Phinma in Dagupan City.

 

A PMA cadet / cadette enjoys full government scholarship. Graduates will earn Bachelor of Science degree and will be commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant and Ensigns in the Armed Forces of the Philippines upon graduation from the academy.

 

Application forms can be downloaded from www.pma.ph . Applicants may also apply online in said website.

 

Entrants in PMA must pass the following requirements:

  • a natural-born Filipino citizen;
  • minimum of 5 feet, for both male and female;
  • physically fit and of good moral character;
  • single and has never been married;
  • high school graduate (Senior High School students – Grade 12 – may apply provided that they will graduate before April 1, 2018);
  • no administrative/criminal case;
  • pass the PMA entrance exam
  • born from April 1, 1996 to April 1, 2001

This year marks the initial batch of Grade 12 students under the K to 12 curriculum. Grade 12 students are allowed to take the PMA exam provided that they will graduate before April 1, 2018. Other PMA applicants are college students/graduates, and 4th year high school graduates of the old curriculum.

 

Successful applicants will comprise the PMA Class 2022 who will be officially received in the academy via an oath-taking ceremony and reception rites on April 1, 2018.
