LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved a resolution authorizing Governor Amado I. Espino, III, to sign  a partnership agreement with HotJobs Pangasinan for the promotion and maintenance of an online job portal.

 

The 9th Sangguniang Panlalawigan on its 35th regular session on July 10, approved Provincial Resolution no. 836-2017 authored by SP Member Generoso D. Tulagan, Jr., head of committee on human resources and development, labor and employment concerns.

 

Taking into consideration the expenses incurred by applicants during job hunts, HotJobs Pangasinan represented by Maria Jesusa B. Viray, will serve as a tool to connect, and match applicants to Pangasinan-based and international companies online.

 

HotJobs Pangasinan is an employment website business entity that provide information and advice to employers, employee and jobseekers.

 

It is a proponent of the now internationally-owned online employment portal Jobstreet.com.

 

The provincial government through Provincial Employment Services Office (PESO) headed by PESO Manager Alex Ferrer will engage the services of HotJobs Pangasinan to maintain and host the job portal www.HotJobsPangasinan.com which will feature job posting/ opportunities of participating companies/employers from Pangasinan.

 

The portal will also facilitate online application and function as a databank depository for jobseekers from Pangasinan.

 

Population Program Officer Jewelrey Padilla who is also helping PESO with the project stressed that the portals will cater to grassroots applicants and employers in Pangasinan.

 

According to Padilla, engaging the services of the online platform is free.
