LINGAYEN, Pangasinan- – -Gov. Amado “Pogi” I. Espino III will lead the opening of this year’s Pangasinan Tourism and Trade Expo (PTTE) on April 5 at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center (PTDC).
The tourism and trade expo opening which is now on its 10th year is one of the annual highlights of Agew na Pangasinan and Pistay Dayat celebrations to kick-off on April 5 until May 1.
As noted by Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO) Chief Ma. Luisa A. Elduayan, the PTTE is made more exciting this year being the first celebration under Gov. Pogi as the provincial chief executive.
Aside from its yearly display of various local products, Elduayan said the event is expected to lure more visitors with the addition of the new Capitol Food Park which will be located at the back of the Veterans Park.
As stated by the PTCAO chief, the food park shall feature food stalls of popular restaurants of the province—a component which is in partnership with the Pangasinan Visitors Bureau (PVB), a non-stock, non-profit organization of tourism enterprises.
Another added attraction that will surely delight all art enthusiasts is this year’s Panag-Arte La Art Exhibit featuring paintings and photographs to be displayed at the PTDC. The activity is presented by “Liket Datek” Art Group in cooperation with the Pangasinan Lensmen.
Throughout the month-long expo, bonsai, garden and landscape aficionados shall be treated with an array of collections and landscaping designs.
The public is invited to visit the expo wherein booths will be open from 8AM to 11PM daily.
