Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. (seated) signs Provincial Ordinance No. 154 adopting “Luyag ko tan Yaman” as the official Pangasinan provincial hymn during the formal opening of Tourism Month Celebration at the Sison Auditorium last September 12.  The hymn conveys love, loyalty and patriotism to one’s own province that includes protection and preservation of the environment.  The ordinance states that all government offices, national or local and all schools, public and private, located in the province including component cities, are required to sing the Pangasinan hymn every Monday morning during flag raising ceremonies.   Witnessing the signing are Vice Governor and Tourism Month Celebration Chairman Jose Ferdinand Z.
